Very Good black-and-grey pictorial slipcase designed to look like a lithographer's stone in paper over beige cloth, facsimile of the artist's signature in white to cover, all edges showing apparent shelf wear, common to copies of this edition, spine head and foot showing no bumping, no structural tears or wear. This edition includes an original full-color lithograph signed in the stone. Also includes an Introduction by celebrated author and poet, Max-Pol Fouchet. From that introduction: "Vol parallelle...This title given by Johnny Friedlaender to one of the works reproduced in the present volume can be likened to the formula which has never ceased to be his: exodus, movement, the dynamic balance of a number of forces converging with unchecked momentum towards self-evident truth. In his art, to both senses and spirit, it is poetry and plasticity which are parallel and, since space merges into time, simultaneous." Heavy and oversized items may require additional shipping.
