Accordion folded stiff white paper measuring 59" flat, here folded to create a 17 page book replete with Adele Shaw's charming full color watercolor paintings of cats, each accompanied by a character study written by Larry Dieterich. Some minor wear to exterior edges, and one mark to first blank page, else clean and unmarked throughout. Stored in a pocket attached to the back side of a wooden shadow box with dark green painted interior, one ethically sourced cat whisker mounted therein. 

Adele Shaw and Larry Dieterich are a husband and wife artist team collaborating here for the second time since their installation, “Second Bite: The Wisdom of the Apple” in San Francisco. Adele Shaw is a contemporary artist, painter and book maker.  Her work is influenced by perception and the power of nature. Bringing these together in her studio fuses her interests in contemporary art, impressionism, abstract and action painting.
