Beautiful auction catalogue published on the occasion of an auction that took place on June 25 and 26, 1979 at Sporting d'Hiver, Monte Carlo. The auction featured French furniture, decor, and other art objects from the collection of Monsieur Akram Ojjeh. Much of the auction's listings are for French furniture dating to the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, some of which are associated with King Louis XVI. Title is taken from front panel of dust jacket.
