The title page continues: Sept compositions hors texte en taille-douce par Jean Geoffroy. At first free endpaper is a lengthy inscription from "G. Gassies des Brulies, dated 16 Juin 1928, to some mademoiselle. Lovely white cloth binding, stamped fleurs-de-lis designs to spine, and with what appear to be little tiny hearts in blue along edges of paste-down. Original publisher's sewn-in silk linen ribbon bookmark still present. Toning to endpapers, else remarkably bright and clean. Previous owner's blank book-plate inside front flap. A fine and beloved play from the Middle Ages, rendered modern in the hands of des Brulies, featuring Jaquinot, Jeannette, and Jaquette. Tissue-guards plates in duotone all present. A lovely copy, and SIGNED by the author.
