Signed inscription in red marker from Golub to Fitz Gibbon on half-title. Pictorial wrappers with color illustrations on covers. Black lettering to beige and black spine. Bumped tips with a small wrinkle in bottom corner of fore-edge affecting the text block, text and illustrations unaffected. Else, clean and intact, binding tight. Leon Golub (1922-2004) was an American painter known for his depictions of the human form. He was the husband of fellow artist Nancy Spero. A catalog that accompanied a traveling retrospective of Golub's work. The exhibition was organized by the Irish Museum of Modern Art and ran from July 5, 2000-summer 2001 in Ireland, England, and the United States.
