A unique book and an artwork in its own right; this is a local Sacramento region publication made by Queenie Jones, who provided the text, and Felicia Montenegro, who made the illustrations. The stories conveyed in this book have a stream-of-consciousness style and write of the titular lemon tree, Schoolhouse Beach, and a variety of other subjects. Montenegro's illustrations, most of which appear to be digitally edited color photographs of women in surreal environs, accompany Jones's writings.
