A wonderfully produced fusion of the classic coming-of-age novel by American novelist and short story writer, Louisa May Alcott, and the colorful illustrations by American artist and illustrator, Henry C. Pitz. Original glassine present in Good condition with some toning and minor tears. Very Good green paper slipcase, some sunning, light soiling, and minor toning. The Monthly Newsletter is present with light toning. The Limited Editions Club was founded by publisher George Macy in 1929 with goal of delivering a monthly fine press edition of great works in literature, religion, history, philosophy, and poetry.
