Text in French. Brown full leather binding with gilt lettering on black leather spine label. Gilt decorations on spine. Covers have slight surface cracking along spine, slight chipping to head and tail of spine, and some rubbing and wear to tips and bottom edges, else clean and intact. Spine appears slightly shaken (some page edges are misaligned on fore-edge), else binding is strong and holding. Pages have light age toning, occasional small spots of foxing, and occasional annotations in black ink from a former owner, else clean and intact.
