Emile de Keratry (1832-1904) was a French politician, soldier, and author. He was a supporter of the Franco-Prussian War (also known as the Franco-German War and the War of 1870 that took place from July 19, 1870-January 28, 1871. This is a reprinted deposition containing correspondence between Emile de Keratry, La Commission d'Enquete de l'Assemblee Nationale (the Committee of Inquiry of the National Assembly), and other officials regarding events during the Franco-Prussian War. Also addressed is the diplomatic mission to Madrid in 1870.
