Text in French. No. 488 of 500 copies. Very Good beige full vellum binding, black lettering to front, no lettering to spine. Covers have moderate darkening and a few small splits along front and back outer joints, else clean and intact, binding tight. Crocker Art Gallery Library stamp on front free endpaper, small red stamp in corner of title page, and pages have light to moderate age toning, else clean and intact. A few black-and-white illustrations included. This is a 1924 facsimile of the oldest printed work by Francois Villon (c. 1431-after 1463), a French poet of the Late Middle Ages.
