Isidore Isou (29 January 1925 – 28 July 2007) was born Isidor Goldstein of French Jew parents in Romania, and became influential in Dadaist and Surrealist art circles, becoming in the process, according to a Wikipedia entry about him, a "poet, dramaturge, novelist, film director, [and] economist."
