Good copy, this being 7 of 500, brown paper portfolio with black illustration and lettering to front with brown cloth backing. Unbound, splitting to interior gutters but holding, soiling panels, wear to portfolio spine with tears around head and tail, some shelf wear to back panel, pencil writing to front pastedown, string ties missing. Some toning and minor soiling to pages, crease to bottom corner of first signature, else, complete. Forty black-and-white plates, with tissue guards, American artist James McNeill Whistler's masterpieces brought together on the occasion of the commemorative exhibition at the Palais de l'École Nationale des Beaux-Arts in Paris from May to June of 1905. Includes an introduction and biographical information from the curator of Musée National du Luxembourg, Leonce Benedite.
