Three volumes, complete. Very Good blue cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering to spine. Covers have slight fading along spines, slightly bumped tips, and several spots of rubbing and scratches, else clean and intact, binding tight. Pages have light age toning and Vol. I has a former owner's inscription in black ink on front free endpaper, else clean and intact. Vol. II is replete with black-and-white plates. Some black-and-white plates are in Vol. I. Beautiful three-volume set featuring sculpture of the Italian High Renaissance and Baroque periods. Vol. I contains the "Text." Vol. II contains the "Plates." Vol. III is the "Catalogue" which contains notes accompanying the plates of Vol. II.
